A native of Japan, chef Yoshimoto honed his craft at Tokyo’s iconic Tsukiji Fish Market, the largest fish market in the world. There, he studied and learned from some of the country’s most experienced chefs, cultivating an eye for quality, while managing a restaurant catered to guests from around the globe. Chef Yoshimoto prides himself on serving only the best and freshest ingredients, sourcing fish primarily from the Toyosu Fish Market in Tokyo and his custom nori from Saga, Japan. His methods are rooted in tradition and technique and he enjoys sharing his culture with the L.A. community.
